Well day two went well. When I put Jackson to bed he was awake in his crib and I lulled him to sleep. It was really amazing to watch him just fall asleep all on his own. He ogt up one extra time besides the 12 and 4am feeding times at 5:30, but Cory was able to put him down easily. The next day we went out and Jackson was great in the car. We went for quite a long drive and he fell asleep in the car without a single noise! Then he went down for a couple naps later on. We had my cousin and her fiance over for dinner so Jack stayed up a bit later than normal. I think that affected his night sleep because he woke up a few more times than usual in the night, but was always easy to soothe him. Most times we don't have to pick him up any more and on the rare occasion he soothes himself to sleep without our help. I can't wait for the day when he is totally self relient at bedtime! Not much else is new. We got all our Christmas shopping done. Since we are also making gifts, we didn't have to do too much shopping. Alright time to eat some lunch!
