Best and Worst Xmas ever.......

All in all this has been a wonderful Christmas. It was amazing to see Jackson with all of his extended family. Everyone was more than willing to help out and entertain our little guy. Of course he was spoiled by all of his grandparents and his aunts and uncles! Also for Christmas Santa gave Jackson an extra special gift of his first tooth! I haven't been able to get a photo of it yet as it just broke through his gums on the 25th. Once it's raised, I'll get a photo and post it. On the 23rd and 24th we had terrible sleeps. Jackson was up every hour and now we know it was due to his emerging tooth. The next two nights were much better, though he couldn't fall asleep on his own. On the 27th we packed up and moved to my mom's house in Nanaimo and have not had a good night since. He has been waking every hour and sometimes even more! A couple of nights we had to wake up my mom to help so we didn't loose our minds! Last night was the worst as I have developed a dreadful cold! Cory spent a good portion of the night with Jackson sleeping on his chest. Today we go home, and I am not looking forward to the nights ahead. We are going to be starting from square one with the sleep training, and hoping that we can get things back to normal! Being sick as I am, I require so much extra sleep, that I just cannot get. My mom has suggested that if Jackson's sleeping habits don't improve, that we see a specialist. I agree, though I hope that it won't come to that. Anyways it's time to start packing and getting ready to go home. I am not entirely ready to go home. It was so nice to be around family and it's going to feel rather lonely at home.
