Weaning

I think Jackson has decided that he no longer wants to breastfeed..... at least during the day. Over the past few weeks he's been getting less and less interested in breastfeeding. So much so that yesterday and today I've had to give him a bottle of formula. For the second time today I am mixing up formula as he's not breastfeeding. So I am going to continue to breastfeed at night, but for the most part, during the day he'll have a bottle. I was talking to my mom and apparently my sister did a similar thing at this age. Some babies are very hard to wean off breastfeeding, but Jackson seems to be doing it all by himself! I am somewhat glad of this, but I know that I'll miss breastfeeding. Today has been relatively easy though Jackson has only had two very short naps! Cory is going to catch the 4pm ferry home, so won't be home until 6:30....... right when Jackson is off to bed. We will both be exhausted by that time I am sure!

On the house front, Cory found a great place near the Royal Jubilee Hospital, though we are not really able to put an offer on it. I wish we had not even started looking, until we had a firm offer on our place. It just leads to dissapointment. So unless our house sells ASAP, we will not be going to the island for some time.
