Still a Battle

Sleepng is definately going better, but it still surprises me that it countinues to be a battle some nights (and days)! Last night Jackson settled well, but from midnight to 1:30am, he kept waking up. Cory would go in Jack's room , settle him and five minutes later he'd be back up. I was surprised how long Cory did this for, we were both glad Jackson wasn't screaming at least! So at 1:30 I fed Jackson as we were just exhausted and he slept through until 6am! So if I wanted to get up that early it would have meant that Jackson only woke once in the night to feed. I decided however that I needed more sleep and fed Jack at six. He then slept until 7:45, which was a more decent waking time. We have transitioned Jack to just two naps a day, and that seems to be going well. He was a bit more cranky than usual in the early evening as he had only an early afternoon nap. Also we are now feeding him solids four times a day. I am not too busy this week. Last week we did a bit of preliminary packing, to tidy the house, then cleaned and organized like mad! This week we are just maintaining the tidiness of the house and keeping on top of cleaning. Next week I'll do a bit of packing in the kitchen as there are a lot of items we don't use right now. I got so excited about the idea of being in Victoria! We jsut have to figure out where we want to live. In some ways it seems ok to be a bit farther out of town as long as we get a larger lot, though being in town near our friends would be ideal. It's reall y going to depend on the house, no matter where it is. As far as looking out of town, the farthest we will go is View Royal, though right now that even seems too far! This coming weekend Cory (and maybe myself if I go) will figure out a lot of things when he (we) goes to look at houses. Alright Jackson is napping so it's time for me to do my own thing!
