Exhausting Day!

Wow, it's been a long time since I've been as busy as I was today! Cory left for Victoria early this morning so we were all up to say goodbye. I took Jackson to his morning swimming lesson.... something I've never done all by myself! It was lots of fun being the parent who gets to go in the water with Jack!! On the way home from the pool, Jackson fell asleep in the car, so I transported his carseat up to his crib, in hopes he'd continue to sleep! I checked the messages to find out that 3 people wanted to look at our house. One at 1:15 (it was already 11:45 when I got the message!), and two in the afternoon. Jackson slept til 1pm so I had time to make lunch and tidy the house for showing. We just got out in time, I saw the people driving up as i walked away with dog and baby. It started to rain and hail while I was on my walk and the people stayed a long time! I had to do 3 laps and I was frozen by the time I was able to come in. I spent the next hour or so talking on the phone and sipping hot cocoa, then I packed the family in the car as I was to vacate our house from 3:30 to 5:30. I went to the mall and Betty hung out in the car. I rarely go to the mall and needed to pick up a couple of things. I also picked up a pair of shoes.... very bad as I'd just bought a pair last weekend! So 5pm rolled around and I decided to head home. We went to the dog park and threw the ball for Betty. I saw the last people come and go, then headed home, later than I thought at 5:45. So after feeding and bathing Jackson, I put him to bed and now it's time for my dinner and a bit of crochetting before bed. I talked with Cory and most of the houses he looked at today were no good. One place, which is a block from my Dads' was great, but by the time we are able to put an offer on, it'll be gone i bet! Tommorrow the real estate agent is showing Cory homes that are closer to town, so hopefully there are some good ones! I really hope we are going over next weekend as well. Alright time for some tacos!
