Sleep Training Revisited
We have run into some problems with Jackson and his sleeping habit. He's been waking every hour for the first half of the night. Sometimes he settles well, but other times he just wails until I feed him. It's come at a bad time as Cory and I are still healing. We are having to use our sleep training methods again and it's not fun. Also he has been resisting taking naps lately. Some days he will only go down for one nap. I thought that he was reisiting becuse he didn't need as many naps anymre, but as he naps less, the nights get worse. So today I tried for a long time to get Jack down for his first nap. After an hour of shhhing, and rocking I gave up and carried on as usual. I am trying once more to get little Jackson to sleep and this time he seems to have fallen asleep with very little fussing. I just hope things get better in the night. I'm not sure how much more of this we can take. The only good thing is that for the second half of the night he sleeps very well, waking only once or twice. On another note, we are going to Victoria for sure. I am very excited about this and am trying to get as much of the laundry and house clean before we go. It's always so much nicer to come home to a clean house. All this week I've been tackling one clutter heap at a time. I've cleaned out the hall closet, found homes for all the books, papers etc that have been living on the dining room table and am starting to sort out all the clothes piled up! I still get quite tired so I am only tackling one thing at a time. Today is the kitchen!

Jackson may need more solids. he might simply be hungry! Lmom
He may also be to addicted to breast feeding. Just wants the feel of it when he wakes up and feels lonely. You might consider pumping your breast milk and feeding him with a bottle. Also try not to breast feed him to sleep because as soon as he wakes up he will want that feeling again. Just thoughts.
