Issues

The past two weeks, Jackson has had a small red rash on the backs of his thighs. This has now spread to his back! I am trying to figure out what he could be having an allergy to. I have not introduced any new food for a while. The most recent one has been pear, which he doesn't like anyways. So I was thinking that it could be from the chemicals used in the pool, but then he'd have it over his front as well, and he doesn't. It could be an allergy to formula, so I am going to try and just breastfeed today.... we'll see how that goes! Already the first feeding of the day was a struggle. This morning Cory and I were having breakfast and Jackson was sitting in his highchair witing for his breakfast. Jackson looked at us and started doing the sign for eating!! Usually he does the milk sign for everything, but here he was across the table, using the eating sign!! Since starting solids the routine has always been that Jack sits at the table while I eat, then I fix his breakfast. Such a smart little boy we seem to have! He is trying to climb the computer chair right now, so I should go play with him downstairs! No word on our house yet, I hope it sells soon....... the good houses in Victoria go fast!

Hi, Does it come after he's been in the pool and then fade off? in the pool, he has a lifejacket on his back... and belted under his legs? I suspect its a chemical reaction.

Milk? Could be. you could try soy brand. LMOM

the rash has not come and gone, it just keeps getting worse. he only had a life jacket on once so i don't think it could be that.... i have thought of the milk allergy, but i have given him formula before and had no reaction.....though it still could be the formula. i am going to try eliminating formula for now and see if it gets better. he's doing well with breast feeding today

could also more likely be a soap issue. diaper soap...

yeah we have been using the same soap for months..... as far as diapers go we are using cloth and have not switched detergent. we'll see what the doc says.....
