Jackson trying on "new" clothes to see what fits!


Today is the meeting of the mom's group that I recently joined, and this time it's at my house! So I've been running around trying to get things tidy. Some of the kids are older and at the other moms' houses' there were baby gates, but we don't have ours up yet, so we'll see how it goes. Tonight Cory, Jackson and I are going to a prenatal class to talk about our birth experience as well as the first few weeks with baby. I am really looking forward to it, but also a bit nervous. Talking about my birth is fine, it's talking about after baby comes home that I am a bit concerned with. I am just afraid that I will sound too preachy if I talk about the things that we hve learned, and the books that have helped us. I suppose we'll just have to see how it goes. I am not sure if Cory really feels like doing much talking, really I am not even sure if he really wants to go...... oh well. i have been thinking more about becoming a doula and childbirth educator and I feel it would be benificial to be present at a couple births before really commiting. I know for the doula course you must attend three births before becoming certified, so I now have to figure out how to go about finding women who want free doula services. This could be more challenging than it first appeared.
