My poor little baby! Last night we were going to try giving him a bit of formula again, to see if he'd sleep better. The first time we tried it I thought it was the noisy halloween night that kept waking Jackson up, but now I'm not so sure. Last night Cory suggested that he may have not slept well that night because the formula was upsetting his little insides! So instead of finding out at night, I waited and gave him some today. He had about 2 oz. then breastfed the rest of his meal. He was happy and content after his feed, then he fell alseep on me with not a single cry. I put him down and he was fine for ten minutes, but quickly awoke, though not crying. I got him back to sleep, but everytime I put him down, he'd raise his legs and rub his eyes, then fall on his side. Finally after a few more attempts I was able to put him down, though I placed a blanket under his legs so he could relax, but still have his legs up. He has been sleeping like that for half an hour now, so I'm not really sure what to think. The formula probably did upset his little belly and thats why it feels good to have his legs up.....though I'm not certain. You never know with babies, sometimes it would be quite helpful if they could talk!
