Kitchen Reno

Cory is almost finished our mini kitchen reno! He's installed our new sink and faucet and replaced all the pipes underneath. Also he rewired the stove to it's new location and is getting ready to wire the dishwasher in and plumb it! It took quite a bit of time as he did everything pretty well by trial and error! He's learned a lot and the projects look very neat and tidy! The stove is in a much more logical area now! I am hoping to have the dishwasher hooked up before next weekend, but we'll see how Cory's work week goes! Today I wanted to do a bit of gardening, but was really tired so napped and just did some laundry instead. We need to get some pressure treated lumber so I can make a raised vegetable garden.... as well as some nice soil! I had a good visit with some of my neighbors today, even the crazy dog lady! I just love our neighborhood so much! It feels so safe and homey! Tongiht we all went to a friend's house for a BBQ and it was great. Such good burgers!! It's been a long time since we've had home made burgs! Cory took Jackson and I home, then went back to the BBQ to hang out some more. I am prety tired, even though I had a good nap today and am going off to bed now. Oh yes, really early this morning we took Jackson and Betty to the beach! Betty had a good romp around and Jack enjoyed watching her! I am so proud of Cory for doing the projects he did this weekend! It's really amazing how well diversified his skill set is!! I have pictures from the beach this morning, but can't download them right now... tomorrow hopefully!
