Well the weekend is here once more. I always like the weekend because it's not just Jackson and myself at home. Cory always makes sure to give me extra time for myself, so I can lounge or crochet my little heart out! I'm now almost finished the baby blanket, ust have to finish the border...... but I ran out of wool so I must go and get some more. I was really hoping to get by with just the 2 purchased skiens, however I will ahve to buy two more. Nowthough I will have enough wool to make the matching hat. It's a very easy hat, so I'll probably make it while I'm waiting at the hospital. Cory and his friend who is visiting this weekend, have been playing guitar and Cory is really improving! I learned one chord and can't even remeber it now! Oh well I'll learn eventually. I am so happy that I'm getting back into doing other things besides looking after Jackson and trying to catch up on lost sleep. Now that Jackson is sleeping better I only get up twice in the night. Usually Cory still has to get up a couple of times as well, but that will hopefully end soon. After Jackson is just waking for the two feedings, I am going to work him into one feeding....my that would be a dream! I'm not really too happy with the legwarmers I made Jackson. They are too thick and bulky to go under his pants, and they don't fit quite right. I looked at the actually BabyLegs ones and I am so tempted just to buy a pair...... but I can't. I've got to try and stick to my New Year's resolution. We used to eat out a lot more, or order food in, but since our resolution I haven't been out yet........ well except for tonight, but that was a treat from our visiting friend!! Tommorrow I have to make a couple meals for the freezer so in the coming weeks as I am healing we will be prepared for the perpetual "what's for dinner?" question. Not much else is new, just trying not to buy useless stuff...... and trying to keep off the computer. I used to spend too much time lurking about, window shopping and what not. Alright it's 8pm and time for bed! Jack has already been asleep an hour!
