Jackson Had His Shots

This morning Jackson and I went in to see his doctor. It was a fairly horrible night, so I was not thrilled with being out of the house at 9:30. When I made the appointment, it was suggested to me to give Jackson some tylenol 1/2 an hour before his appointment. So we got to the office and Jackson was wieghed and measured. He is now 16 lbs 13 oz and 26 1/2 inches tall! He is growing wonderfully the doctor told me. So then the time came for his shots. Every other time Cory had been there with me so it was a bit scary to be alone! The first two shots went in and Jackson didn't even flinch, he just fed away. The last shot was the one that stings, but instead of crying for a few minutes, he only cried for a few seconds! After he totally finished feeding, he was as happy as ever. So I guess the tylenol was a good thing after all! I remeber the first time he got his shots, the poor little guy was two months old. For a few hours afterwards every breathe had a little whimper with it. It was so sad to see him like that. But now he's gotten a bit tougher and is usualy fine forthe rest of the day. I just hope we have a better night! We were all up from 11pm to 2am last night! But after that he slept soundly until 7am, so it wasn't a total write off! Here are a couple photos of Jackson, doing his half crawl half nose dive!
