Last Day

I am thinking of getting a Day of the Dead tattoo while I am living with my mom in Nanaimo. I want a nice big, bright design to fill my arm! I was inspired to get a mexican tattoo after admiring a friend's soap dish she picked up on a recent trip. It's funny where inspiration comes from sometimes!


Today is Jackson's last day of swimming lesons. We missed the week before as we were in Victoria. This morning while Jackson napped, Cory and I packed up our bedroom and nsute. It feels so good to have full rooms cleared out! We are also going to try and pack the spare room and most of Jackson's room. We'll only be here for another two week, then in transition for another two, so really we don't need to keep much stuff out anymore! Cory has just left on a box run to the liquor store. I spent a good portion of yesterday drawing and it felt so good! I was really proud of the art I created, and when it's done, maybe i will post some! One day I'd like to get a website of my own to display my art, and other crafty things. My sister can design websites, so hopefully she'll help me out! Actually this coming month may be a good time to ask her about doing it as she won't be working. She is going back to school to get her degree and I'm so happy that she is doing it! It's such a great acomplishment, I'm very proud of her! One day I'd like to go to school, but for now I am content being a mum and exploring my creative talents!

I've been a bit off lately with the move. I am nt dealing with it as well as I once did. I feel a bit lost here. It seems as though my life here has already come to a close, however it's a month until my new life begins. I've been building up a bit of a wall, something I always do when I don't feel secure. It's just a phase; how I deal with things, but Cory is having a hard time with me being this way. I know it will pass, I just have to feel at peace with my life and that will happen once we are settled into our new house!
