Developments!

This morning after Jackson woke up from his 1 1/2 hour nap! I decided that it was time he try to feed himself. I mashed up his bananas and sat him on a towel wit hte bowl and spoon in front of him. He never really got the hang of it, but made quite the mess! It was great fun! Then Later when he was playing he looked up at me and I waved and said hi, and he waved back! A few minutes later, he waved at the dog! It's so cute! We also just made it up the stairs. Jackson had tackled a few stairs on his own, but this morning he made it up a whole flight of stairs. I am trying get lots of practice in as the new house has no stairs. As I type Jackson is bouncing away in his jolly jumper. He's really grown to like it and jumps quite high! I have to get video of all this and post it on the family photos site, but the batteries keep dying in our camera!! I have a photo of Jackson feeding himsef, but as the camera is dead I can't put it on the computer right now, but soon I will. We are goingto have a mellow day today, as I'm still feeling under the weather. Maybe just a couple walks in the rain and a quick jaunt to the store for batteries.
