What a wonderful morning I've been having! Jack woke up at 6:30 and was in a very cheery mood. We ate and played, then he started getting tired. Usually this is the least favorite part of my morning, however not today! Jackson slept on his own for 1/2 an hour and I got a little nap on the couch. When he awoke he was very hungry and grouchy, so we ate and played again, then he again let me put him down for a nap! uring this nap I was able to rotate the laundry, tidy the bedroom and change the sheets! S o far this is more than I've accomplished in an entire day.... and it's only 11:00am! The key to these wonderful naps has been Jackson's swing chair! We put him in when he's groggy and he falls asleep, and stays asleep! It feels so good to have a bit of "me" time during the day. Though right now i'm playing MAJOR catch up with housework! After everything is all caught up I'll be able to work on some small projects I had to put aside when Jack was born. Also having these mini breaks from caring for Jackson mean that I am happier to spend time with him when he needs it most!
