Cranky Pants Cont....

It's been two hours and things have not gotten better, only worse. I tried to settle him and get him to sleep as he was getting cranky, but he would have none of that. After letting him cry a bit in his crib, I tried to feed him, however he still fussed and cried. I called Cory in tears as I didn't know what to do and felt like I was ready to give up. Then finally Jackson had a proper feeding and he even fell asleep on me for a couple of minutes. I changed him and put him on his tummy, for some much over due tummy time. I guess I have not been putting him on his tummy enough, mostly because he cries when I try it. I've discovered that if I roll up a towel and place his shest on it, Jackson lasts a bit longer and makes more of an effort to lift his head. By three months they should be able to lift their heads and even start to push up on their arms. Jack's not so good at these things, so I have to make more of an effort to get him practicing. So anyways this tummy time didn't go so well and he ended up hysterical...again. I was able to calm him by sitting him on my lap and letting him watch the computer screen for a few minutes. Now he is in his crib watchingh is mobile while I finally get something to eat. So far all I have had is two bowls of cereal....oh no he's crying yet again. Suppose I'll have to finish my sandwich another time! I'd just like to have a bit of time each day for myself, to do things just for me. Right now it feels as though everthing I do is for Jackson. I try to eat healthy, so he can have milk. I try to rest as much as possible so that when Jackson needs me, I'll be able to help, or as the case may be, deal with him. It's amazing that in a day I rarely have time to go the bathroom let alone sleep and eat! I just look forward to the day when all this not sleeping bull sjit is over......
