Sweet Dreams

I can hardly believe how amazing a full nights sleep has made me feel. We all went to the hotel together and watched some t.v. while Jackson had a nap. Then I fed him and we ventured out for my birthday dinner. We tried White Spot and Boston Pizza, but both were too busy and we couldn't wait with little Jack in tow, so we ended back at the hotel in the Denny's Restaurant. Not really the place i thought I'd be having my 27th birthday, but at least they have milkshakes! It turned out out another bonus to the ever classy Denny's was that you get a free meal on your birthday. So we didn't have to pay for my grease loaded Philly Cheesesteak Sandwich. After dinner I fed Jack one last time and said good bye to the special men in my life. At last I was alone!! I got changed into comfy pj's and watched t.v. I also tried to write in my journal, but that didn't go so well. iwas just to tired for my brain to function properly!! So I drifted off to sleep and only woke once in the night. In the morning I'd planned to have a shower and order in some room service, but I got a phone call from Cory. jackson was all fed and dressed, ready to come see Mommy at 8:30 this morning! I'd hoped to sleep in til at least 9am, but I don't know if I really could have. So my little family arrived, and even though it was earlier than I thought I'd be seeing them, I was happy. Cory's night was okay. Jackson was up quite a few times in the night and up for the day at 5:30am! So I showered and Jackson took a nap, then we all went to White Spot for breakfast. It was a great breakfast! Jackson was very loud and talkative, but for the most part in a god mood. Cory and I caught up on or night apart and discussed future plans. All in all it was a wonderful birthday and I am so happy and well rested! It won't last long, but now I remember what it feels like to get a peaceful nights rest!
