We have anothe busy weekend ahead of us! Cory is going to be finishing the bathroom, though as you can see it's somewhat functional! He's already put up the concrete board so now all that needs to happen is tiling and grouting, then sealing it all in! I've been doing lots of gardening and trying to get some art done. I had a babysitter come over for a few hours yesterday so I could get going on some paintings. I'm almost finished one and have two others started. I am doing art for my friend, who is opening up her own hair studio soon! I am also doing art just because it feels good to be doing something that isn't for the house or for Jackson. Speaking of the little guy, he's been doing so well. He's been waking less in the night and for the most part settles himself. Sometimes we have to go in just to calm him a bit, but for the most part he does it alone. Oh and I've stopped feeding him during the night and have almost weened him. Right now he gets breastfed twice and bottle fed twice. His bottle is now 1/2 formula and 1/2 organic goats milk. It's strange to think that me feeding him is going to end soon...... I'm a bit sad about it, but it seems like a natural progression. The thing I'll miss the most is the close cuddles Jack and I have while feeding. It's just not the same with a bottle. On another food note, Jack is now pretty well eating everything that we are eating, at least for dinner. He still gets special meals for breakfast, lunch and snacks. Usually he and I have leftovers for lunches so now all I have to prepare for him are snacks and breakfast. Today I gave Jack a bit of yogurt with blueberries and he loved it, so I'll be adding that to his line-up of yummy breakfast treats! Next weekend or the weekend after I have decided to have a garage sale. It's not that I have a ton of stuff to get rid of, but I think I have enough to warrant setting up and sitting around on a Sunday morning. Alright well the laundry is done and Jack is still napping so I'm going to try and get it out on the line before he wakes!
