The Long Long Weekend.
It's been a long time since I've been up at this hour!! Jackson has been waking and not wanting to go back to bed until I feed him, so we are trying to get past this point without feeding him tonight. Cory has been trying for a while and now it's my turn. It's hard because he gets more upset when I go in the room than ever as I am still "food" to him. Over the past week I've been weaning little Jack. Usually I am giving him 1/2 of his feeding in formula. Well really it's almost 1/2 formula 1/2 goat's milk. Jack has been getting more picky with his solid foods lately. One day all he wanted to eat was chicken, but he'd eat potatoes sometimes, I think just because he thought they were chicken bits. He left the avocado and sweet potatoes alone ( or flung them off the tray!). It's hard because no one has had a lot of engery so I've been just trying to make food for him as I go. He usually eats similar food to us for dinner, but breakfast, lunch and his two snacks are sometimes a challenge. I tried giving him "Veggie Bootie" for a snack and after that he didn't want anything else for the rest of the day. I have not given him any more since that day. Cory took Friday off as began the bathroom project. He has had a bit of help along the way and I'm happy to report that we've got a fully functioning tub in our bathroom! He still needs to work out a small plumbing issue and finish putting up the concrete board on the last wall. Aftert hat is tiling and grouting and other finishing touches. We've got one day left and I doubt it will be finished by the end of the weekend, but it'll be close! Tiling should be fairly interesting as niether of us have done it before! I've managed to do a bit of gardening and started on a painting! I'm really excited to be painting again and hope to start doing it more often! Anyways that's what we've been up to! I'll have to post photos when I am on my own computer another day.

Veggie Booty!
My friend in NY who I was staying with is an actor and a children's preformer. He was telling me how everything stops when a mom brings out Veggie Booty and it's a mad baby race to the bag. He calls it booty time.
